RP3 Agency, a leading creative communications agency in the Washington metropolitan area, announced today that Max Marcucci has joined the firm’s growing public relations practice as Public Relations Manager. Marcucci will play a critical role in building client opportunities and implementing a broad spectrum of PR functions.
“When we launched RP3’s public relations practice, we understood that PR is no longer seen as a stand-alone function, especially as more organizations and clients embrace a fully-integrated approach to their strategic planning,” said Dan Sweet, Director of Public Relations for RP3 Agency. “Having someone with a breadth of experience spanning strategic communications, marketing, and public relations, like Max, is a tremendous compliment to RP3’s portfolio and will be key in sustaining and further growing our public relations practice.”
Marcucci has worked with a variety of clients and organizations to develop and execute integrated communications campaigns, crisis planning, media engagement, and events. His background includes providing public relations strategy and earned media results for successful tech startups, nonprofits, special-interest groups, and public relations firms. Marcucci will be working closely on RP3’s National Law Enforcement Museum, HR Certification Institute, and Facing History and Ourselves accounts, among others, while simultaneously identifying and supporting new business opportunities.
“Max’s energy, strategic thinking, and proven track record of success will add immediate value to our clients,” said Beth Johnson, Co-founder and CEO of RP3 Agency. “His diverse background and great personal dynamic make him a valuable addition to our PR team and agency as a whole.”
Prior to joining RP3, Max was the director of marketing and communications for an international association of naval architects and marine engineers. He previously presented at Advertising Week DC and his work has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Marcucci graduated from American University where he studied public relations, strategic and corporate communication, and marketing.
“It’s exciting to be a part of such a talented, dedicated, and fun team of professionals,” said Marcucci. “I look forward to supporting our clients’ continued success and collaborating with Dan and the award-winning teams at RP3 to grow the public relations practice.”
Working with Marcucci will be Imani Pope-Johns, a public relations consultant with experience in public relations, branding, events, and marketing. She has previously consulted on projects for lifestyle, entertainment, hospitality, and tech clients.
“With the addition of Max and Imani, RP3 has built a strong public relations and earned media capability that will allow us to provide our clients with outstanding integrated communication services,” said Sweet.
