<p>The banners feature dynamically pulled in tune-in information for every upcoming Orioles/Nationals game, listing who and when they will be playing  next. Once expanded, the user can find all the news and match-up info  they need to enjoy the game, and they can search by zip code to find the MASN  channels on their cable provider. But perhaps the most helpful and user  friendly aspect of this campaign is the game reminder functionality.  Users can sign up to receive email reminders for games that interest  them. They can pick all games, divisional games or cherry pick the  specific teams they want to watch.</p>
<p>According to PointRoll, “with over 1,000 campaigns running per month, Beanie award winners represent less than 1% of all PointRoll campaigns. The award is distributed by PointRoll on a regular basis and is highly selective to recognize the best uses of rich media technology.”</p>
<p>Most importantly for RP3, the campaign is delivering results for MASN. According to a recent article in the <span style="color: #00aedf;"><a href="http://baltimore.bizjournals.com/baltimore/stories/2010/07/26/daily1.html?t=printable" target="_blank">Baltimore Business Journal</a></span>, ratings for Orioles games are up 11% this year, while the Nationals are up a whopping 139%. (Although pitching phenom Stephen Strasburg probably deserves some of the credit there.)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>RP3 started working with QPR Roadshop, a full line of pavement repair products available at Lowe’s, last winter.</p>
<p>They we’re seeking a partner with strong media planning credentials to craft an aggressive outdoor and radio buy throughout the Northeast. But like potholes in springtime, opportunities to do more just kept popping up.</p>
<p>Next, they needed a big creative idea that could work across every touch point. We gave them a monster. Then we brought the monster to life in this engaging <a href="http://www.potholemonster.com" target="_blank">microsite</a>. Click image to launch.</p>

<p>So far, results have been encouraging. In markets with where the campaign has been running, sales have increased by as much as 20% versus unsupported markets. Soon, we hope to unleash the monster in-store. And if all goes well, we’ll be celebrating National Pothole Month next year and dispatching road crews to fix potholes reported by twittering motorists everywhere. Who knows, maybe the monster will even get his own sitcom? </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A few years back, when people actually clicked on banners, we built an online campaign for Sunrocket, an upstart VoIP provider with its sights set on category leader Vonage. We knew consumers had been disappointed by big telecom monopolies, with their excessive costs and hidden fees. So we positioned SunRocket as a more honest, more approachable alternative in everything from their pricing to the tone of the messaging.</p>
<p>Through a phased program of creative and media testing, learning and refining, we achieved a CPA of less than half the $258 published CPA of the market leader. Subscribers grew by 250% in 5 months. And our click through rate of .13% was 6 times the industry standard.</p>
