RP3 Reunites with United Way.

United Way of the National Capital Area has teamed up with RP3 Agency for the second time for the 2011 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). RP3 will promote United Way NCA and its member nonprofits as beneficiaries of the campaign, which is created and run by federal employees to demonstrate a commitment to public service both in the DC region and nationally.

The CFC’s aim is to promote and support philanthropy by providing all federal employees with the opportunity to participate in a program that improves the quality of life for others. RP3 will develop and execute tactics designed to engage the federal government workforce and motivate them to donate to United Way NCA and its members  as  part of their contribution to the CFC.

United Way NCA works to mobilize individuals and organizations in the DC metro region to improve education, financial stability, and health. The organization assists thousands of people in the District of Columbia, northern Virginia, and Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties to improve their lives and their futures, by focusing on the issues most important to the area.

“The goal of United Way NCA is to improve the overall quality of life in this region by leveraging the caring power of our community to advance the common good,” said Kerry Morgan, SVP, Marketing & Communications. “RP3 is similarly passionate about this mission, and has demonstrated a capacity to clearly articulate our value and help differentiate us from the many other worthy charitable organizations participating in the CFC.”

“United Way NCA is such a critical component of this community, providing a tremendous level of compassion and support,” said Beth Johnson, President of RP3 Agency. “We are extremely excited to partner with them again to drive CFC participation, and are confident that despite the trying economic times, our collective efforts will yield an equally – if not more – successful program as last year.”

RP3 will provide United Way NCA with an integrated campaign including strategy development, creative, and traditional and digital media. United Way NCA credits its increase in 2010 CFC revenue to the fresh and creative advertising campaign developed by RP3.
